2024 Spartan Taebaek Refund Policy

 

Participants must follow the procedure outlined below to request a refund from the organizers.

Refunds will be processed based on the date the “Refund Request Form” is received, not the date of the initial refund inquiry.

Refunds will be processed 2-3 days after the submission of the refund request form, excluding weekends and public holidays. Please understand that the time required may vary depending on the card company or bank. (If there are no further instructions, please contact the relevant card company.)

Refunds will be processed according to the following criteria:

  1. Within 48 hours of ticket purchase: 100% refund of the ticket amount, excluding the processing fee charged by the registration system.
  2. After 48 hours from the ticket purchase date:
    • Refund requests received by 23:59 KST on August 20, 2024: 70% refund of the ticket amount, excluding the processing fee charged by the registration system.
    • Refund requests received between 00:00 KST on August 21, 2024, and 23:59 KST on September 20, 2024: 50% refund of the ticket amount, excluding the processing fee charged by the registration system.
  3. No refunds or cancellations will be accepted after 00:00 KST on September 21, 2024.

*The processing fee (Processing Fee) is non-refundable under any circumstances, except for refunds or cancellations received by 23:59 KST on the ticket purchase date. **Even if the refund request is made within 48 hours of the ticket purchase date, cancellations and refunds are not possible if the request is made after 23:59 KST on September 20, 2024.

The race may be canceled, rescheduled, or relocated without notice in the following circumstances:

  • Situations beyond the organizer's control (weather conditions, natural disasters, pandemics such as COVID-19, and other unforeseen circumstances)
  • Laws, regulations, requirements, or instructions from government authorities

In such cases, the following refund policies apply:

  1. In case of race cancellation:
    • Full refund of the ticket amount, excluding the processing fee (Processing Fee).
  2. In case of race rescheduling or relocation:
    • No refunds will be issued after the refund period specified in the regulations. Registration details can be deferred or transferred free of charge.

The organizers are not responsible for any disadvantages caused by participants' failure to check notices within the specified period or incorrect submission methods.

The handling fee mentioned above is based solely on the ticket amount. The separate processing fee (Processing Fee) is non-refundable.

  • This includes refunds for change of mind and refunds due to race schedule changes or cancellations.

This ticket is processed as an international transaction. Please note that additional international transaction fees may be charged by your card company, in addition to the ticket price and service fee specified at the time of payment.

The fees charged may vary depending on the card company, and the organizers are not involved in the refund of these additional fees. Please contact your credit card company or the relevant institution for inquiries.
